History

A joint effort of Cleary University and the Brighton and Howell Chambers of Commerce, Leadership Livingston was founded in 1992. Modeled after other successful programs across the country, Leadership Livingston has since become a model for other communities.

Participants have included corporate CEOs, middle managers, business owners, civic leaders, educators, government employees, and others interested in the future of this community. Leadership Livingston is not a training program; it is designed for both existing and emerging leaders who, despite their active presence in the community, consistently tell us they learned more about Livingston County after completing Leadership Livingston.
